Description
This project seeks to develop a mobile phone application that alerts a person with hearing impairments about auditory disturbances in the environment. While the application is running it listens via the phone's microphone(s); identifies audio disturbances such as sirens, smoke alarms, car horns, and crying children; and notifies the user of the cause of the disturbance with visual and haptic response.
We do not host SS12 Audio Alert System *BETA* on our servers. We did not scan it for viruses, adware, spyware or other type of malware. This app is hosted by Google and passed their terms and conditions to be listed there. We recommend caution when installing it.
